Cruz Campground to visit with Judy and Denis Gendron.  It was a nice
visit.  Talked about their travels and what they were going to do next
year.  They are planning on doing some traveling also.  We came back
to the motor home and had a sandwich for dinner and watched the
ocean.  The sunsets at Carpinteria are the best.  Tonight was no
exception – it was beautiful.

We went down to Art and Janine’s and had a campfire and enjoyed a
great visit with them.  I have missed them and was looking forward to
seeing them again.

Art said he was working for the LA Angels and loves it.  He is taking
tickets and loves it.  Of course, he loves baseball so this is right up his
ally.  Since he works for the Angels I had to rub it in – just a little –
about who won the World Series!

Here it is 10 pm again and I need to get some sleep.  We travel
tomorrow -even just a short distance- but still got to get ready.
Goodnight from Carpinteria.

Sat. Nov 14, 2009 – What a great day here in Carpinteria.  It was a
beautiful morning.  We ate breakfast outside on the picnic table
and discussed what we needed to do today.  I didn’t want to do
anything, just bask in the sun here in Carpinteria.  That was fine
with Danny but he had to go to the hardware store for a couple of
things for the hose and he pointed out that our laundry hamper
was full. Ok, we will go and do laundry and just get it done.  So off
we went to the laundromat.  While there, Danny went to the
hardware store so we could save time.  Got the laundry done and
Danny asked if it would be OK if we drove to Ojai and see how we
are going to have to travel tomorrow.

On our way to the laundry we passed the tow company where the
Bounder use to be.  We saw it sitting in the bays.  Looks like they
were working on it and giving it a second chance. So glad it is
getting a second chance.

It was a beautiful trip and we found that the trip to Lake Casitas
was only 16 miles and it was an easy 16 miles.  We went into Ojai
and had lunch at Carrows.   After lunch we drove around town just
to see what there was in this little town.  On the way back Danny
stopped on the side of the road and bought be 2 bunches of  fresh
lilacs.  Oh they smell so good and then came back to Carpinteria
.
