We took 101 to 33 to 150 to get here at Lake Casitas. What a beautiful campground. It is so large and quiet. Going to enjoy this for 2 days. Danny wants to go fishing while we are here. If the lake was up he could just throw his fishing pole into the water from the back of our rig but the lake is way down so guess we will drive closer to that lake to fish. I will take my book and enjoy that. It gets so dark so early. It is only 5: 20pm and feel like I need to get to bed. We do have TV so will watch a little TV tonight and then get some sleep. My right cheek has hurt for a couple of days. It is not a toothache so I am not sure what it is. Making me miserable because it is so uncomfortable. Hopefully it will go away soon. Tomorrow we will go out and take pictures of the campground. We want to take as many pictures as we can of all the different campgrounds that we stay at. Better get some dinner and kick back and enjoy this relaxing life! Looking forward to sitting out in the sun reading tomorrow. Gosh I hope it isn’ t cold. Oh well, it is beautiful here. Good night from Lake Casitas. Lynda click on this link to see our page http://www.camphostcouple.com |
| Our Adventure Sun, November 15, 2009 Sun. Nov. 15, 2009 – Oh gosh, today we have to leave Carpinteria. It will be hard to leave. Feels like home. We have certainly enjoyed our stay here and we will return one of these days. We enjoyed being campers and not hosts. |
Melinda stopped by to say goodbye. Had a nice visit. She even brought me an early birthday gift. They are beautiful cards with pictures of Carpinteria at its best. Thanks Melinda. While Melinda was there Linda, from maintenance, stopped by. It was nice to see here. She said she had retired but was still planning her Christmas Party at the maintenance office. We left Carpinteria about 1:30pm. On our way out we met up with Art and Janine and was able to tell them goodbye and we plan to see them in the desert in Jan. |
