| to Valencia/Magic Mountain. We went to Camping World to see the cost of putting an antenna on the roof (too costly), air bag shocks (can’t get them for a week), so we had vent covers put on. While at Camping World bought a “roll table” and some “cool” Christmas Cards. We spent the night in the parking lot of Camping World. That was an experience. It worked and this morning we had the vent covers put on and headed out for Ventura RV Park. We were going to go all the way to Point Magu but it was best to go to Ventura RV Park and then tomorrow go to Point Magu where we have reservations for 3 nights. Here we have a Jacuzzi/pool, laundry, game room. We used the Jacuzzi already. It is cold outside but it was hot in the Jacuzzi. We enjoyed the relaxation. We were the only ones there. Winter travel makes it great as far as crowds go. There are only about 10 rigs here. We will leave tomorrow morning and head for Point Magu. It is on the beach but without hook ups. We can do that for 3 days then on to Malibu. The coach is running great. I kind of kicked back and enjoyed the ride for a few miles today. Got a little stressed when we got in the city and the GPS didn’t give me the exact directions. Will get better using that. While we are driving down the road I am trying to take some pictures, watch the computer screen with the GPS, and listen as “Fiona” our GPS voice, tells me where to turn and how far to go. I will get use to this – I am sure. Now that I am totally relaxed I guess I had better go and do some laundry before it gets too late. Goodnight from Ventura RV Park. |
