| 8:15AM and we are off and running to Universal Studios. We get there just as it opens, get a wheelchair for Danny and get all the passes we can and off we go. Danny is hungry so lets use our bands and get food. We all enjoy Jurassic Park Café and the variety of food. We tour the shows and the tram tour, eat again, and then go to WaterWorld show. It is great, full of excitement and energy. We did not sit in the seats where you get wet. We learned that!! We are all just a little tired so we head back to the parking lot. Steph and Brian have a long drive home yet and we are just tired. We say our goodbyes. It is really hard for me, especially since the Christmas decorations are up and Christmas music is playing and I am leaving for a few months. I am truly going to miss my girls and my grandkids. They are the BEST. Just didn’t want to let go of Steph. Just hugged and hugged and hugged and cried and cried. We even made Ri cry. I will miss them so much. Page 27 We all get in our cars and head home. Wow, the traffic on the 5 is bumper to bumper. Of course it would be, it is Sunday after Thanksgiving. We get home in about 1 hour or so. Happy to be here. I took some time to look up the sites where Ashley and Ricky are registered to get some idea about a wedding present. Oh my gosh, one of the registered gifts is a tent and some camping gear. Didn’t know they camped but I am thinking the best present from Aunt Lynda and Danny would be a tent and some stuff. Great idea. Oh Oh, 9:25pm – FIREWORKS – one last night. Danny enjoyed them again. They don’t last long and it is a good thing cuz it is cold outside. Got a text, Steph and all are home safe and sound and Debbie and family are home safe and sound from their Thanksgiving camping trip. Ok, I can breath easy now. I know where my kids are! What a great Thanksgiving weekend. Great company and fun sights. Thanksgiving 2009 is now a great memory. I love making memories. Ok, time to get some sleep – gotta get on the road again. We are headed for Desert Hot Springs Resort tomorrow for at least two nights. Rest, relaxation and sightseeing. Sounds good to me. Good night again from The Magical Happiest Place on Earth – Disneyland. |
