We headed out early – 10 am – well that is early for us. We were going to stop at one of the RV resorts/Casinos along the way but we were having such a great trip that we decided to head to Ehrenberg, Az. Highway 10 is a nice road most of the way and we had one long uphill mountain to cross but the motor home did great and so did we. We stopped at the “Flying J” for a break and lunch. Had their buffet. It was so good, and we were so hungry. After enjoying our lunch we headed for “Colorado River Oasis” resort. Checked in and got 4 nights/5 days free. WOW, I can do this. We will go to a seminar on Monday morning but no big deal. Sat. night we are going to dinner at the resort. Our friends, Audrey and Fred are the cooks. This should be great. Sunday there is an ice cream social at 2pm. We will be there at 1:50 pm cuz they put our name in the drawing for a free banana split. We will be there – just in case. Boy, they have activities every day here from breakfast/cinabuns/cards/bingo and other games. We will enjoy the amenities including the swimming pool/hot tub and sauna. When we set up Danny got out the rope lights and put them around the bottom of the coach. Looks very festive. Tomorrow I will find the new Christmas lights we bought and put them on the dash of the motor home. Have some garland there now but need more Christmas look. Can’t believe it is Christmas already. Tonight we went to the local pizza place for pizza with our friends from the Resort. It was a really good pizza so much so that we brought ½ of it home. Will make a Good lunch for tomorrow. Gosh I miss my girls already and know that I will miss them more and more and oh my, I miss my grandkids. They will have changed so much by the time we get back. I am having a great time traveling with Danny and doing what we have dreamed about. Kind of a catch 22. It is time to relax before going to bed. The time here in Ehrenberg is different than California. There is a hour time difference. California fell back and Arizona stayed the same.
