Today we went to Quartzsite with Fred and Audrey. Had never been there and we will be coming back in Jan. just to see what it is like. They say there are a million Rvers here for the month. Saw pictures of wall to wall RVs. They have told us if you need something for your RV and can’t find it in Quartzsite then you will never find it. Well, I am going to put that to practice in Jan. and see if we can’t find a oven rack for our oven. It sure will be easier to bake in it with an oven rack. We just walked around some the of vendors tents. Yes, there are vendors there now and you can see where the others will be. As we walked around some of the tents we couldn’t believe the “stuff”, anything and everything. We did find two walking sticks that we want to get and Danny wants to check to see about the cost of solar on our coach. They have a vendor tent with just socks in it for sale! Lots of tents with gemstones for sale. Needed to have more time just to look around. After a little tour we came back to the resort. Audrey and Fred were cooking dinner at the club house tonight, chicken, steak, veggie, baked potatoe, rolls and dessert. When we checked in we got a coupon for the free dinner. We will enjoy it. Just kicked back and rested and went to dinner. It was really good and the company was great. Came home after dinner and did nothing. Gosh I like this life! | Sat. Dec.5, 2009 – Sat. in Ehrenberg, AZ at the Colorado River Oasis Resort. Our friends, Audrey and Fred Buscher, work here so we are totally enjoying our visit. We haven’t seen them since we were at East Fork, up on the mountain by Bishop, CA. |
