| Sun. Dec. 6, 2009 – Was going to church this morning but there are no Catholic Churches in Ehrenberg! It is really small but I thought there would be a church. The closest one is in Blythe but we aren’t sure how far away that is or where the church might be. Didn’t do much this morning, but at 2pm we went over to the club house and participated in the ice-cream social. Danny and I shared a banana split. It was very good with all the fixings. They only charged $3.00- such a deal! After the ice cream we decided to take our car and go to Quartzsite to check it out, especially the “free dry camping” in the desert. We drove around and found some spots – basically, just find a road that you won’ t get stuck on and pull out and set up. It is fun to see all of the RVs and where they are. They are lots of them now, can’t imagine what it will look like in Jan./Feb. Page 32 We were going to buy the walking sticks but it was cold outside and we decided just to wait for those. We had dinner at McDonalds and then came home. Worked a little on the computer and called it a night. We have to attend their seminar tomorrow and then leave Tuesday. Gotta figure out where we are headed. Hmmm wonder!! Good night from Ehrenberg, AZ. |
