| Sat. Dec. 12, 2009 – What a nice day today was. We went to The Club House for breakfast, 2 pancakes and bacon or sausage, juice and coffee. The price was right, $2.50 per person. Since we had to make a run to Ehrenberg, 40 miles away, we left the Resort right after breakfast and had a nice leisure drive, we took care of business and then we came back to Emerald Cove. Just a nice Sat. morning drive. When we got back to Emerald Cove we found out our friends, Ted and Mimi, were staying here and had just arrived. We visited with them for a couple of hours and decided to meet at 5:45pm for dinner at The Club House. The Resort was offering dinner tonight, pork loin, red potatoes, carrots, salad, roll and pie and coffee for $7.00 per person. We enjoyed the meal and the company. After dinner, Michael Shaw, provided music to dance by. He was pretty good and sang everything from Hank Williams Sr. and Jr., CCR, Alan Jackson and many many more. Page 37 We danced and enjoyed visiting and of course watching people dance. Some were really good and fund to watch and some were not so good but they were enjoying themselves. Tomorrow we leave for Bullhead City for 3 nights at one of the Resorts in our book. We are looking forward to seeing someplace different. After Bullhead City we will head to Pahrump for Christmas week. Our stay here at Emerald Cove has been enjoyable and just long enough. The people here have been really nice and friendly.
