| Sun. Dec. 13, 2009 – It is moving day. After 3 nights here at Emerald Cove we are leaving and heading to Bullhead City, Az. We have 3 nights reserved at Ridgeview RV Resort. The price is right – with out membership it is $9.00 per night with full hook-ups, laundry, pool, and hot tub. It is about 3 hours from here. |
The trip was nice and we didn’t hurry. Just took our time and stopped a couple of times just to rest and relax. You can do that in a motor home, which is really nice. We stopped at McDonalds in Lake Havasu and ate lunch. We didn’t buy lunch, we ate the Taco Bell we had left over from yesterday Sometimes it is so nice that we don’t have to go in to a place and eat, just sit in your own home on the road. The RV Resort is nice. Typical RV Resort in the desert. Out our front window we can see Laughlin, Nevada and all the casino lights. They are some beautiful sights. We went to Laughlin and ate dinner at a casino. It was Prime Rib buffet and because we joined their Players Club we got our dinner for $6.99 per person. Great deal and great food. After we ate we walked around along the River Walk and to some of the other casinos. Such an enjoyable night. We came home and were really tired so just hit the bed.
