Sun. Jan. 3, 2010 – We
went to the “non denominational”
service at the Club House.  Have no
idea where the Catholic Church is.
After the service we did laundry and
then came back to the motor home
and got ready to move.  Tomorrow we
leave for Lake Havasu and then to
Salome.  I read my book and Danny
took a nap and we had a great
afternoon.  WOW, just doing nothing is
great.

After dinner we walked over to the club
house to see what was going on.  They
were going to play cards and the
football game was on so we sat and I
watched the football game for awhile.
People started coming  in to play
cards.  They asked us if we would like
to and we said sure.  We played one
game.  It is called “65” I think.  It was
fun.  They started to play another
round and we excused ourselves.
Just don’t want to stay up late tonight.

Good night from Ridgeview RV Resort,
Bullhead City, AZ.

Mon. Jan. 4, 2010 – We are
off and headed to Lake Havasu.  Not sure
where we will stay the night but we will find
a place.  Danny is sure there is
someplace to stay in the desert.

It is a long trip, about 62 miles.  We
stopped along the way at LOVES truck
stop It is a huge truck stop with lots of
Rvers and trucks stopping.  We walked
around and stretched
and then we ate at the Carls Jr. inside.
Nice break..We finally get to the WalMart
in Lake

Havasue about 3pm, Arizona time.  Talk
about getting confused – Arizona didn’t
change their time so they are 1 hour
different than the Pacific Coast Time and
Nevada and California are Pacific Coast
Time.  When we crossed the Colorado
River from Laughlin there is 1 hour time
difference.  None of our clocks say the
same time.  My cell phone isn’t sure what
time it is at any given time.

We are now in Arizona so we are 1 hour
later than California.  We will be in
Arizona for a while now.

We got some stuff at WalMart and then
took off looking for a Bank of America and
a place to camp.  We found the bank and
then headed to a place where Danny
thought you could camp in the desert.
Well we found the place.  It was off the
road about ½  mile.  We drove the car out
there and found a place we liked then
went back to WalMart and got the motor
home.  We got set up about 5pm.  It is a
gorgous spot.  The hills around us are
great.  There are lots of people out here
but not close.  It is so nice.  Once we got
set up I took a little walk.  Just had to walk
and see some of mother natures doings.
Danny caught up with me and we walked
and looked at the rocks and other things
around.  Found a great looking rock and
piece of “drift” wood.  What a beautiful
place, so calm.

We decided we needed to travel back in
to town and see the London Bridge and
what was in the London Bridge Park.  It
was nice and peaceful an fun to see.
Reminded me of when I was in London.
We walked around and took lots of
pictures.  When we left we decided we
had to drive over the London Bridge so
we drove over and back and then headed
out to the campsite.  It is dark and of
course we missed the turn off so had to
turn around and go back  -  FOUND IT!!

Since we have no hook ups we have go
to bed early and play rummy. I won 3 out
of 5 games, finally.  Danny won all of the
games the last time we played. After 5
games we closed our eyes and had a
great nights  sleep – even though it was
dark!!!

Good night from the desert at Lake
Havasu.
